Western Australia’s Premier Metal Recyclers has been named the 2025 Australian Exporter of the Year at this year’s Australian Export Awards in Canberra.
Premier Metal Recyclers is an outstanding Australian export success story, sending reclaimed end-of-life metal to steel mills, foundries and extrusion plants around the world.
As well as Exporter of the Year, Premier Metal Recyclers also won the Sustainability and Green Economy category award.
South Australia’s Munda Wines is the inaugural winner of the First Nations Exporter Award.
Munda Wines is a proudly Aboriginal-owned premium wine company that is sharing culture, connection and Country with the world.
The Albanese Government congratulates all winners across the 14 categories and recognises the 95 outstanding national finalists who were winners in their home state or territory.
This year’s worthy national finalists were chosen from 370 quality applicants.
Winners were chosen by a national judging panel and presented their awards at a gala ceremony in Canberra last night.
The Export Awards are presented by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in collaboration with state and territory partners and sponsors.
