Appointment of Media Adviser
Trade Minister Simon Crean is pleased to announce the appointment of Clinton Porteous as his media adviser.
All media inquiries for Mr Crean’s office should be directed to Mr Porteous.
Mr Porteous has more than eight years experience in the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery and most recently was the national political correspondent and Canberra bureau chief of The Courier-Mail newspaper.
He has also worked for ABC Radio News and the Herald Sun newspaperin Canberra.
From 2000 to 2005, Mr Porteous was based in Santiago, Chile, working for a range of media organisations - including the BBC.
